OG Surf and Skate will be hosting several New Jersey authors at its Second Endless Summer Beach Reads Event
Saturday, February 28 from 11 am to 6 pm
Door Prizes & Wine & Cheese & Readings from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Seven published authors, from NY Times Bestsellers to a debut author, will share the inspiration for their novels, sign books, and mingle with readers. Many of the novels are set along the Jersey Shore, making this an even more special event for readers who will recognize many of the locales mentioned in the novels, including locations in Asbury Park, Avon-by-the-Sea, Bradley Beach, Ocean Grove, Seaside Heights and Spring Lake.
We will also have Three Little Kittens visiting with us tonight! They will be providing food and having raffles to help support their wonderful organization!
About the Authors
NY Times and USA Today Bestseller Caridad Pineiro is a Bradley Beach resident and the author of nearly fifty published novels and novellas. Caridad will be sharing SINS OF THE FLESH, STRONGER THAN SIN, THE LOST and THE CLAIMED which are set in Asbury Park, Bradley Beach, Ocean Grove, and Spring Lake. THE LOST was a Romance Writers of America RITA finalist for Best Paranormal.
Shelley Noble is the NY Times Bestselling Author of the women’s fiction novels BEACH COLORS, STARGAZEY POINT and the upcoming BREAKWATER BA. As Shelley Freydont she writes the CELEBRATION BAY FESTIVAL MYSTERIES and upcoming Newport Gilded Age Mysteries. A former professional dancer and choreographer, Shelley lives near the Jersey shore.
Catherine Greenfeder has lived in Nutley for three decades. She holds a B.A. in English from St. John’s University and a M.A. in Teaching from Montclair State. She has taught middle school language arts in Cranford, New Jersey. A Dance Out of Time, published in 2015 by Featherweight Press, is a follow up to A Kiss Out of Time, and is also set in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
The Jersey Shore has been part of Irene Peterson’s life since she could ride the kiddie rides in Seaside and later, watch the surfers in Lavalette. She even met her husband to be on the boardwalk. What could be more natural than to write about the shore in GLORY DAYS which is set in Asbury Park?
As a research scientist during the day, Linda J. Parisi knows that the perfect formula for making sparks fly is combining tall, dark and edgy heroes with heroines who never give up or give in. Awarded the New Jersey Romance Writer’s Golden Leaf Award for Best First Book for her novel, Noble Blood, and winner of the 4th Annual Stroke of Midnight Contest for her novel, The Joining: Bound by Blood, Linda is a long time member of the Romance Writers of America, past board member of New Jersey Romance Writers, current board member of Liberty States Fiction Writers, as well as a Craft and Industry Instructor for Literary Powerhouse Consulting. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, John, and a family which includes Audi, a Cocker Spaniel mix who had her at woof!
L.G. O’Connor is a member of the Romance Writers of America. A corporate strategy and marketing executive for a Fortune 250 company, she writes adult urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and contemporary romance. She is currently working on the third book in the Angelorum Twelve Chronicles, Book of Four Rings, for publication in 2015. In addition, she is writing an adult contemporary romance series set in Morristown, New Jersey.
Debut author Samantha Scordato has been penning stories in her journals for many years. She fell in love with Jane Austen at an early age and kept up with her love through an undergraduate degree in Fashion Merchandising and an MBA from Philadelphia University. After graduating, Samantha turned her attention to her two loves: Running OG Surf and Skate and writing. FOLLOWING JANE is Samantha’s first novel, but she is already at hard at work on another.
